I. Summary
The instrument is designed and made as per T0632 Test Method for Distillation Characteristics of Liquid Asphalt in the industrial standard of People’s Republic of China JTG 052 Specification and Test Methods for Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering. It is suitable to determine distillate content in the liquid petroleum asphalt as per T0632.
II. Main technical features
1. It adopts integral type lifting structure. The rising up and lowering down of heating furnace is easy to control and stable to operate.
2. The water chamber adopts stainless steel structure. Good corrosion resistance.
3. The heating furnace adopts electric pressure regulation technology.It can achieve continuous adjustment for heating power.
III. Main technical specifications
1. Power supply: AC 220 V±10%, 50 Hz.
2. Distillation flask shield: Made by iron sheet, its surface is plated to black, and it is with a wooden handle. There is a gap opposite to the handle to let the branch tube of distillation flask get through. There is a rectangle observation window on the shield of flask. There is transparent mica inserted in the frame of window.
3. Distillation flask:It is made of hard glass and can endure a temperature higher than 500 ℃. The diameter of the ball section of the flask is 102±2.0 mm, and the neck of the flask is 25±1.2 mm. The angle between branch tube and flask neck is 75±3 °.
4. Thermometer: 0～360 ℃, scale division is 1 ℃.
5. Condensation tube and holder: The Condensation tube is composed of Φ12.5±0.5 glass tube, and it is supported by two holders.
6. Heating temperature adjustment device: It is composed of heating furnace and silicon control rectifier temperature adjustment circuit case. Its power is 1000 W/220V. The heating speed is adjustable.
7. Graduated flask: The graduated flask is 100 ml, and scale division is 0.5 ml.
8. Connection tube: made by thick glass (about 1 mm). Like ox horn. The bending angle is 105°. The inner diameter of larger end is 18 mm and the inner diameter of small end is less than 5 mm.
9. Electric furnace gasket: It is made by carbonized silicon. Its outer diameter is 105 mm and its inner diameters are 50 mm and 30mm, total two types.
